Backstory: Prince Moore sits in a castle under the sea, which travels on the back of a giant hermit crab starting in the 1800s up to modern day. He’s spent most of his immortal life searching for a betrothed, which he snatches from the surface and holds hostage in his castle until they agree to marry him. Or until they refuse, where he loses his temper and kills them. He is a narcissist and a spoiled brat, he believes marrying someone on the surface is the only way to come into his full power as King of the Seas, where his fleeting magic powers (Transformation, water manipulation, Animal communication) will be restored.

He has had 10 previous betrotheds because eventually meeting his husband, Xiaotong, most but him were murdered in one of Moore’s fits. The first betrothed, Allison, fell ill and passed away because Moore had no clue water pressure could kill a person. He traveled from deep sea to surface daily. He was truly in love, and mourned her deeply and sincerely. the second of his betrothed, Apollo, grew stir crazy and drowned while trying to swim to the surface even though Moore tried to stop him. This sewed the seeds for Moore’s madness, and touchiness with partner abandoning him.

Xiao has a temper of his own, and often beats Moore into submission when he acts out. Moore doesn’t mind though, he’s so in love with Xiao that he complies. Moore’s husband Xiaotong was a convict on a prison ship for murder. He’s originally from Hong Kong, and has a STRONG hatred for aristocratic types due to abuse he suffered in the past. He’s typically grumpy and easily irritated, unless his husband Moore is involved who he typically has a soft spot for. Though, Xiao is not above beating his partner into submission when Moore acts out. He is 28 years old, is a cis man, and stands at a measly 5”5 for someone so dangerous. He is VERY Feminine, considered a Femboy. This causes him to not be seen as a threat until it’s too late.

Backstory: Poe is Apathetic and unfeeling, fueled only by the hunger for human flesh. He was brought in as an “orphan” to a convent, where he excelled in regurgitating the information he was given about God. Picking off the other orphans at the convent grew too risky, however, and he moved on to a job as a butler at a Chateau. Poe gets adopted by Bianca Chartier, the noblewoman who owns the chateau, who forms feelings for him incredibly quickly.

He uses this to his advantage, revealing his monstrous form to her, and working out a deal that he wouldn’t eat her as long as she provided him with other humans to eat. They often travel to poor towns surrounding her wealthy Victorian home, enticing drunken men to bed with her feminine young butler. Only to have Poe devour them mid-sex. Bianca finds this incredibly arousing, and typically watches and gets off to it as she’s covered in his victims blood. This relationship only causes Bianca to fall further in love with him, whereas Poe still acts aloof towards the idea of a relationship. Deep down though, he is obsessed with her. Love is just not quite the right word for it. He is deeply attached to his dynamic with her. He will sleep with her though, if she demands it of him. He doesn’t mind.

Florence and him also have a complicated history, they were brought to the same convent as orphans and competed for food there as Florence subsists on human flesh too. Poe parted ways when he was picked up by Bianca, and was relieved since Florence was clingy and a nuisance to him.

Bianca Chartier has been driven mad by her close proximity to Poe. She was once a cold, calculated, and highly respected business woman. She now is a bit codependent on Poe, madly obsessed with him, and constantly craving to watch him consume other people. She is much older than him, 44 years old, and stands at 5”0.

But her sociable nature got her in trouble at the convent, so she was mistreated and alienated by nuns and other orphans.That was, until a monster hunter stayed at the convent temporarily to save them from a monster who’d been picking the children off one by one. His name was Tamas, and he felt so bad for Florence that he took her with him as an apprentice monster hunter. He had no clue she was a monster herself, or that she would slowly turn him mad. She was head over heels in love with him, and constantly fantasized about being his wife.

Tamas is a monster hunter who travels around taking up jobs, destroying monsters in the name of God. He has no idea he’s been driven mad by Florence’s proximity, and sees her as a totally normal little boy despite xem using xer tentacles and extra appendages in front of him. Alexei is sweet and kind, and seemingly perfect. He does exactly what he’s told, doesn’t ever act out or speak out of turn, and is skilled in all forms of music, dance, arts, and theatre.

Which he believed were all in a platoon with him and kept him safe from the actual armies which slowly invaded his city and reduced it to ruin.

When Nazi’s occupied his home, they used his ward for target practice. They tortured them for fun, for sexual gratification, or because the children would cry or whine too loudly about being hurt or scared. Heinz was not spared, and suffered torture that left his face covered in scars and one of his eyes ripped with no nurses to repair him.

One day, after too many days of torture and sleepless nights, Heinz received orders from his hallucinated army men. That the corridor was silent, that every nazi on his floor was asleep, and they felt safe enough to sleep with their guns cast away from them.

Giving orders to these men to secure the lower floors, Heinrich dawned a gas mask that was just a bit too big for him. Barefoot and in his nightgown, Heinz stole a gun from a slumbering Nazi and took every single Nazi soldier out on the floor. then the next floor, and the next, and so on. Until him and his platoon had wiped out ever single man in Nazi uniforms from his ward.

Covered in blood, Heinrich made his escape. He found his way to the Black Forest, where in it he stumbled upon a large mansion. The owner of this mansion, Avery Laurent, was a vampire who took an immediate liking to Heinz. He was powerful, good for security. He was cute, good for sex. And he was, well, he had an imaginary army, good for entertainment. So the man turned him, and gave him a job as a security guard for his mansion of Vampire children called the Black Forest Cult.

Levvy gets distracted and runs off a lot, which has caused his brother a lot of grief in the past. Excitable, easily-distracted, and aggressively kind. Just wants to see everyone happy and smile, and will try to get others to even during hard times. Comes off as immature for his age, even though he’s 12 sometimes he acts more like a rambunctious kindergartner. Despite all of this, he often gets distracted by details which other people miss, puzzling pieces together to help build strategies.

Pommeline: (He's the one with the brown hair and eye patch) Pom has always been protective of his easily-distracted brother. Partially because of brotherly love, but also because Levvy was the only person who understood him and how he expressed his emotions differently.

After an incident when they were younger, Pommeline is extremely strict about his brother's scatterbrain. His anxiety of losing him has given him a tight grip over all of his brother's actions, and has caused Pom to form a dislike of his brother's hyper personality. He truly doesn't want to fight him, but he just needs Leveret to change, so he knows he won't ever be nearly taken away from him ever again.

Pommeline is a bit socially awkward, he finds it easier to talk to others as a King or Prince ordering his loyal subjects around. Despite coming off as bossy, he cares deeply for the people around him. To the point his anxieties of them getting hurt can come out as controlling and aggressive behavior.
